ADRENAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT (SALIVA)
The steroid hormones cortisol and DHEA work together to regulate the body’s response to stress. They are important for many physiological systems and processes, including the sleep-wake cycle, sex hormone balance, thyroid function, the immune system and inflammation, digestion, bone metabolism, glucose homeostasis, and heart health.
Imbalances in cortisol and DHEA due to a chronically activated stress response can directly affect mood, sleep, immune function, thyroid function, weight, and resistance to stress, and may contribute to the development of various chronic health conditions.
Cortisol and DHEA levels can be optimized by diet and lifestyle adjustments that reduce the harmful effects of stress and inflammation on the body.
- Salivary Cortisol (4 time points)
- Salivary DHEA

FOOD SENSITIVITY ASSESSMENT (BLOOD)
Though many people suffer from food allergies that present with immediate symptoms, an increasing number of individuals suffer from food sensitivity – a delayed reaction to certain foods that can occur hours to days after consumption. This adverse reaction to foods can over-activate the immune system creating inflammation in the body and a variety of symptoms, e.g., headaches, fatigue, joint pain and arthritis, anxiety/depression, skin rashes, abdominal pain, bloating, and diarrhea.
Salveo Diagnostics has developed the FoodSenseTM test to identify food sensitivities and scientifically assess which foods could be at the root of chronic health problems. Our health coaches and nutritionists at SalveoSynergi are then available to help patients get on track to an improved diet and healthier lifestyle.
FoodSenseTM tests IgG reactivity to 222 different foods, the most on the market. Foods are organized by order of reactivity and food category.

GUT HEALTH ASSESSMENT (STOOL)
Poor gut health is at the heart of many chronic conditions and a healthy gastrointestinal (GI) tract is vital to our overall well-being—indeed, our very survival. GI symptoms are among the most highly prevalent of chronic health complaints (affecting two in five Americans) but are also largely hidden and the least understood. Sedentary lifestyles and standard Western diets do little to support this neglected organ system. Studies suggest that irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or related symptoms account for 10–20% of primary care physician visits and up to 20% of GI outpatient clinic time. In fact, spending on GI diseases in the US has been estimated at $142 billion per year, with an annual cost for outpatient GI endoscopy of $32.4 billion.
Physicians can be frustrated by the lack of specific biomarkers, reliance on clinical symptoms for diagnosis, and overlap of symptoms with those of organic conditions. Patients with this disorder greatly desire effective therapies and would take considerable risk to obtain symptom benefit. But without the necessary tools to personalize diagnosis, treatment is often trial and error—at best a temporary “band-aid”— with patients typically returning once symptoms recur. Comprehensive Gut Health Stool Analysis offers a solution that will help get to the root of the matter, transforming the physician-patient relationship in the process, for dramatically improved health outcomes.

CARRIER SCREENING ASSESSMENT (BLOOD)
Almost everyone is a carrier for at least one genetic condition. Most carriers do not show symptoms of the condition. However, their offspring may still be at risk for the condition if their partner is also a carrier for the same condition. Carrier testing helps uncover this risk by identifying specific gene variants for multiple types of disorders.
Who should receive testing?
The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) recommends that all women who are pregnant or considering pregnancy be offered carrier testing for cystic fibrosis and spinal muscular atrophy. Testing for additional conditions may be considered for patients according to family history, ethnicity, or other factors.
- BASIC SCREENING (3 CONDITIONS):
- STANDARD SCREENING (24 CONDITIONS):
- ACOG & ACMG SCREENING (15 CONDITIONS):
- JEWISH SCREENING (19 CONDITIONS):
- COMPREHENSIVE SCREENING (82 CONDITIONS)

GLUTEN-RELATED DISORDERS (BLOOD)
The symptoms of wheat allergy, celiac disease, and non-celiac gluten sensitivity may not be distinguishable from one another,1 often causing delays in diagnosis and effective management.
- Abdominal Pain
- Diarrhea
- Constipation
- Nausea
- Lethargy
- Headache
- Join/muscle pain
- + more
Key Differences Between Gluten-Related Disorders
Wheat Allergy: Wheat sIgE
- Immune-mediated response to wheat-containing foods
- Reaction stems from the body producing antibodies to proteins found in wheat
- Potential for anaphylaxis
Celiac Disease: Anti-tTg IgA, Anti-tTg IgG, Anti-GliadinDP IgA, Anti-GliadinDP IgG
- Autoimmune or immune-mediated enteropathy
- Immune response to gluten, the known trigger
- Genetic susceptibility
Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity: EliA Gliadin IgA & EliA Gliadin IgG
- Disease mechanism has not been elucidated
- Symptoms may be identical to celiac disease
- Currently diagnosed by exclusion of celiac disease and wheat allergy

COMPREHENSIVE RESPIRATORY PATHOGENS (NASAL SWAB)
Respiratory conditions can produce symptoms that are hard on patients and challenging to diagnose without accurate and timely diagnostic information. A comprehensive respiratory pathogens screening is easily done via nasopharyngeal swab to help clinicians identify key viral and bacterial targets, and translate results into quick, accurate treatment.
Benefits of Respiratory Testing
- Reduces diagnosis time.
- Enable improved patient management.
- Results in shorter duration of antibiotic use.
- Leads to shorter hospital stays.
